Those things I miss from Paris

- Baguette & croissants and good food in general. Even if I must admit I eat far better everyday now that I have time to cook.
- The omnipresence of cafés. I wonder how they do in non-latin countries, when they’re in need of a place to hang out. (Don’t say Starbucks…)
- New exciting places opening every week, even if were far from trying them all. Or maybe it’s just the feeling that you have to catch up…
- The entertainment of scrutinizing every girl’s look. For some reason, you don’t find as subtle or sophisticated here in Gevena.
- When you take a taxi home and you see the place de la Concorde, the Grand Palais or the Tour Eiffel at night. Some magic at work. (even if the Jet d’eau has its own magic too)
- And of course, friends and family !
(Makes me think of calling my Dad)
