My fiancé bought this Christian Constant cake for my birthday in 2008.
We tasted many excellent chocolates in Paris so it’s difficult for me to say which one is my favorite. Christian Constant is the one I would recommend if you want strong flavours. And the bonus is, he makes those incredibly strong chocolate cakes, perfect for a craving. This cake had a surprising taste of rum, which went very well with the dark chocolate aroma.
The truth is in August many shops are closed in Paris for vacations, especially our favorite fancy bakeries. So my fiancé thought of Christian Constant and it was a great idea.
