Quick update

I haven’t been here for a while. Lastly I spent most of my time doing not very tumblr-able things, among which

• discovering very late the awesomeness of Adventure time
• following Big Bang’s much awaited comeback. I though I would at least post about that but turns out I have troubles finding my objective voice in this huge tsunami. 
• enjoying a much awaited sequel to one of my favorite fantasy creation http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11801463-city-of-dragons. I really admire Robin Hobb. Even if this book’s critics were so-so I was very happy to visit the Rain Wilds again.
• enjoying another much awaited sequel : Mass Effect 3. This one is far more time-consuming, especially if you decide to play the whole game (including previous releases) several times to try different choices. 
• starting to await yet another sequel : Guild Wars 2. I was a big fan of the first game and was really excited about this sequel. However when they started to develop the sequel, they left us in the dark for 5 years. I gradually lost interest for the project. But recently they started their press campaign and it’s really showing promises, even if I don’t want to spend all my time to play competitively anymore.

In the end, more reading and gaming means less internet slacking I guess.

Big Bang - Love Song MV

One of the things that bother me with “mainstream” music is the lack of a well defined genre for an artist. That’s why I still find it disturbing to hear a U2-like rock anthem by Big Bang. However it’s really a good video and an amazing choreography live. I really love their style for this single and of course, especially G-Dragon’s punky pink-haired Yakuza look.

And here is the making of the MV, where you can see the special camera they used and the apocalyptic setting. It’s also amusing to see that they had to lip sync on an accelerated version of the song.
